Scott Transformer (Dry-type Scott Transformer) TBS series Type B (Domestic Use Only) When you want to take a relatively large capacity single-phase load from a three-phase circuit as a balanced load on the three-phase circuit through the transformer connection, this Scott connection method transformer is the most widely used in such cases, for example, for single-phase electric furnaces or single-phase loads for emergency power supplies. ◇Advantages: Balanced load can be applied to the input side three-phase circuit. ◇Disadvantages: The load side (single-phase circuit) must be split into two circuits.
